A quiet house, nine windows. Tap the pumpkins as they light up and leave the ghosts alone. Now and then the house whispers: the time on your device, the day, how long you've been here, your best score, maybe your name. It's a focus game: notice the voice, let it pass, keep tapping. Everything it knows stays in your browser.

The Game That Knows You is a free Halloween focus game. Nine windows light up one at a time: tap the pumpkins as fast as you can, and leave the ghosts alone. The windows speed up as you go, and you have three lives.

Now and then the house whispers, and it seems to know you: "It's 11:43 pm. Why are you still playing?", the day of the week, how long you've been here, your best score, your name if you're signed in or gave one in town. It's all read in your browser and never sent anywhere. At the end it gives you one line to keep, like "11:43 pm. Sam lasted 2:14. Go to bed."

How to play

Tap the pumpkins

A window lights up. Pumpkin? Tap it fast. Ghost? Leave it and it drifts away.

Ignore the voice

The house whispers what your device knows. On Expert it even tells you to tap a ghost. Don't.

Keys and touch

Tap a window, press Space for the lit one, or 1 to 9 by place.

Score

10 per pumpkin plus up to 10 for speed, 3 per ghost left alone. A missed pumpkin or a tapped ghost costs one of 3 lives, and the windows speed up.

Scoring

Each pumpkin tapped scores 10 points, plus up to 10 the faster you tap. Each ghost left alone scores 3.
