Rules Sprint: free sports rules quiz game, true or false in 60 s
Offside, tie-break, a travel in basketball. True or false, fast.
What is Rules Sprint?
Zip reads a sports rule, you call it true or false: offside in football, the tennis tie-break at 6–6, travelling and the shot clock in basketball, tries in rugby, sixes in cricket. As many as you can in 60 seconds, and every answer explains the rule.
Rules Sprint is a free 60-second true-or-false game about the sports rules people look up mid-match. Zip reads a rule from football (soccer), tennis, basketball, rugby union, cricket, volleyball, golf or athletics, and you decide if it's right. Every answer comes with the rule in one line.
The run climbs three levels: the basics (how many players, what a free throw is worth), then the famous puzzles (offside, the tie-break at 6–6, travelling, double dribble), then the fine print (who serves in a tie-break, the back-pass rule, the three-second rule).

Scoring
Each right answer scores 10, 15 or 20 points by level plus up to 5 for answering within 4 seconds, multiplied by your streak: ×2 after 5 right in a row, ×3 after 10, ×4 after 15. The level goes up every 6 right answers.

What it trains
- Sports rules
- Offside, tie-breaks, travelling and the rules people look up mid-match.
- Careful reading
- Spotting the one word (any, only, straight from) that makes a rule true or false.

Strategy and tips
- Offside in one line
- In the opponents' half, nearer their goal line than the ball and the second-last defender, and involved in play.
- No offside from these
- A throw-in, a goal kick or a corner kick.
- Tie-break basics
- At 6–6, first to 7 points with a 2-point lead; ends change every 6 points.
- Travelling
- After you gather the ball you get two steps, then pass or shoot.
- Read every word
- "Any", "only" and "straight from" usually decide true or false.
