Holiday Calendar: free holidays game, drop each in its month
Valentine's, Diwali, Thanksgiving. Drop each one in its month.
What is Holiday Calendar?
Every year the world looks up when the holidays are. Later Burrito shows a holiday or festival, from New Year's Day to Diwali, Songkran and Obon: pick its month out of four, as many as you can in 60 seconds. Holidays that move with the moon say "usually".
Holiday Calendar is a free 60-second quiz about the dates people look up every year. A holiday or festival appears, from Valentine's Day and Halloween to Diwali, Songkran, Nowruz and Obon, and you pick its month out of four. Every answer shows the real date, so you learn as you play.
The run has three levels: fixed dates first, then holidays that move with the moon or fall on "the second Monday of…", then festivals from around the world. Movable holidays say "usually", and a month a holiday can also fall in is never offered as a wrong answer.

Frequently asked questions
Is Holiday Calendar free?
Yes. It is free and runs in your browser, with no download. Signing up is optional.
Why does it say "usually"?
Some holidays follow the moon or a weekday rule, so their date changes each year. The game counts the month they most often fall in, and never offers the other possible month as a wrong answer.
Which hemisphere is it for?
Months are the same everywhere. Only the solstice questions say "northern hemisphere", where the longest day is in June.
How many holidays are there?
More than 50, from New Year's Day to Kwanzaa, across three levels.
