Stream Link: free pipe puzzle game online, rotate the tiles
Zip's stream cables are scrambled. Turn the pipe tiles until the camera feeds every screen in one network, with no loose ends.
What is Stream Link?
Zip is going live, but the cables are in a twist. Tap a tile to turn it a quarter, and link Zip's camera to every screen in one network with no loose ends. Lit tiles glow from the camera. A run is three boards; pick Easy, Medium or Hard.
Stream Link is a free rotate-the-tiles pipe puzzle with Zip. The board is full of cable pieces (ends, straights, bends and T-junctions) turned every which way. Tap a tile to turn it a quarter, and join them all into one network that carries Zip's camera feed to every screen, with no cable left hanging.
Every board is generated in your browser from a finished network, then scrambled, so it can always be solved. Choose Easy (5×5), Medium (6×6) or Hard (7×7) and play a run of three boards. Tiles light up as they join the camera, and your score rewards a quick, tidy solve.

How to play
- Link
- Turn tiles so every one joins a single network from Zip's camera to all the screens, with no cable pointing at nothing.
- Turn
- Tap a tile to turn it 90° clockwise. On a keyboard: arrows move, Enter or Space turns.
- Light
- Tiles connected to the camera light up in yellow, so you can see how far the signal reaches.
- Score
- Each board: Easy 500, Medium 800, Hard 1,200 points, minus 2 a second and 5 per turn beyond the fewest needed, never under 100. Three boards a run.
Scoring
Each board starts at Easy 500, Medium 800 or Hard 1,200 points, then loses 2 points a second and 5 points for every turn beyond the fewest needed. A board never scores under 100.
A run is three boards; your score is the total of all three. Tiles joined to Zip's camera light up so you can see your progress.
What it trains
- Spatial reasoning
- Picturing how a cable piece will sit before you turn it.
- Planning
- Working in from the edges and corners, where each tile has the fewest possible positions.
- Efficiency
- Solving with as few turns as possible, because every extra tap costs points.
Strategy and tips
- Start at the edges
- A cable can never point off the board, so edge and corner tiles often have only one or two possible positions.
- Screens are dead ends
- A screen has one cable. Two screens side by side can never face each other, or they would close off a tiny network of their own.
- T-junctions face inward
- On an edge, a T must have its flat side against the border. In a corner, a bend has only one way to sit.
- Follow the light
- Lit tiles are joined to the camera. Grow the lit network outward instead of fixing tiles far away.
- Count your turns
- Each turn beyond the fewest needed costs 5 points. Think before you tap: three taps is the same as one turn the other way.
Why play Stream Link?
Pipe puzzles train spatial reasoning and planning: you picture how a piece will sit before you turn it, and use the board edges as constraints that ripple inward. Short boards make it a quick, satisfying logic workout.
Frequently asked questions
Is Stream Link free?
Yes. It is free and runs in your browser, with no download. Signing up is optional.
Can every board be solved?
Yes. Each board is built from a complete network first, then the tiles are turned at random, so a solution always exists.
How is the score worked out?
Each board starts at 500, 800 or 1,200 points by level, loses 2 points a second and 5 per turn beyond the minimum, and never drops under 100. A run adds three boards.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Yes: the arrow keys move between tiles and Enter or Space turns the selected tile.
