Recipe Rush: free cooking game, put recipe steps in order
Pancakes, banana bread, fried rice. Put the steps in order, quick.
What is Recipe Rush?
Buffer is cooking the recipes everyone searches for: tea, pancakes, banana bread, egg fried rice, bread. Tap each recipe's steps in the right order, one tap per step, as many as you can in 60 seconds. Each recipe ends with the logic (or the safety rule) behind the order.
Recipe Rush is a free 60-second cooking game. A recipe appears, from a cup of tea to pancakes, banana bread, egg fried rice and homemade bread, with its steps shuffled. Tap the next step, then the next: the last one falls into place by itself, and a new recipe begins.
Three levels take you from 3-step snacks to 4-step classics and then to recipes where the order is about safety: cooling rice quickly, washing your hands after raw chicken, cooking it right through. Each recipe ends with one line on why the order works.

Strategy and tips
- Find the first step
- What has to exist before anything else? Boiling water, a batter, a dough.
- Heat before food
- Pasta and noodles go into water that's already boiling; batter goes into a hot pan.
- Finish last
- Dressings, cheese and toppings usually come at the end.
- Safety has a place
- Wash your hands right after raw chicken, and reheat rice until piping hot.
- Read all the options
- Two steps can look alike; one always needs the other first.
Why play Recipe Rush?
