What is Focus Mode?
Learning is easy; learning while your phone buzzes is the real skill. Close every distraction before it wins, and keep the thread of the lesson for the checkpoint questions. All apps and messages are made up.
Focus Mode is a SkillxTube Original, an arcade game made for SkillXGames and set on a video-learning platform like SkillxTube. Its star is Zip.
Focus Mode plays a short lesson one key fact at a time while notifications pop up over it. Close each one with its ✕ before its bar runs out, or it steals a life.
After slides 3 and 6 the lesson pauses for a checkpoint question about what you just saw. Three lessons: the water cycle, spreadsheet cells and how bridges hold up, each faster and busier.

What it trains
Focus Mode trains staying with a lesson while notifications compete for you. It is an arcade break in the "Attention" family: short enough to fit between two tasks, deep enough to get better at.
Your best run is kept in your browser and shows in the Trophy Hall. Signed in, a finished run also pays SkillXP in your player space, like every SkillXGames game. When you want the real lessons behind the game, every run ends with a link to SkillxTube.
Strategy and tips
- Close and come back
- Close a ping as soon as it shows, then look straight back at the fact.
- Say it in your head
- Repeating a fact silently makes it much easier to recall at the checkpoint.
- Ignore the content
- No ping matters: flash sales and streaks can wait.
- Watch the bars
- Each ping has a small bar. Short bars first.
