Scam Estate

Flats to rent and houses for sale, as listings and messages from owners. Tap every line that is a red flag, then arrange a viewing or walk away. Some listings are genuine, so don't walk away from everything.

How to play

Tap. Mark the lines that are warning signs: pay before viewing, keys by post, a price far below the street, pressure, no papers.
Decide. Arrange a viewing for genuine listings, walk away from scams.
Three levels. Beginner, Intermediate or Expert, picked before you play: the content and the clock change, and each level keeps its own best score.
Coins. Example numbers in plain fictional coins, made up for the game. Not financial advice.

Quick tips

See it first. Never pay for a home you haven't visited, in person or through someone you trust.
Check who owns it. A real agent, an address, papers and a phone number you can call.
