Later's Queue: free sequencing logic game, rules and tips
Later shuffled a tutorial. Put the steps back in order so the project actually works.
What is Later's Queue?
Later shuffled a tutorial. Put the steps back in order so the project actually works. A logic break that trains sequencing: what has to happen before what.
Later's Queue is one of the Zip & the Gang cabinets of the SkillXTube Arcade, played natively in SkillXGames. Its star is Later.
Later's Queue is a sequencing game. Later shuffled the steps of a tutorial (publish a Short, fix a bug, bake a loaf of bread) and you tap them back in the order they have to happen. When you run it, the steps in the right place turn green and stay put.
There are 10 levels, from 4 steps up to 7, and 3 hearts per run. Getting a tutorial right on the first try earns a bonus.

What it trains
Later's Queue trains putting steps in the right order. It is a logic break in the "Sequencing" family: short enough to fit between two tasks, deep enough to get better at.
Every ranked run you play on SkillXGames is dealt and checked by SkillXTube and counts for Team SkillXGames on the shared SkillXGames vs SkillXTube board.
Strategy and tips
- Find the ends
- Spot the first step and the last step first. The middle is easier once both ends are fixed.
- Look for dependencies
- Ask what each step needs. You cannot bake before mixing or publish before recording.
- Keep the greens
- After a wrong run, the green steps are right. Only reorder the others.
- Take your time
- There is no timer on the order, only hearts. Read every step before tapping.
Why play Later's Queue?
Later's Queue trains sequencing and logical order: understanding what has to happen before what. It is the skill behind following a recipe, writing a procedure or planning a project.
