Bank Run Bluff: a free game about liquidity

Run the corner savings co-op. Lend enough to earn, keep enough cash for when the rumours start.

What is Bank Run Bluff?

You run the corner savings co-op. Each month keep some savings as cash in the vault and lend the rest. When rumours spread, savers queue: short of cash and you sell loans at a loss.

Bank Run Bluff is a free money game about liquidity. You run the little savings co-op on the corner: townsfolk keep their savings with you, and you lend most of it to local builders.

Each month choose how much stays as cash in the vault. When rumours spread, savers queue; short of cash, you sell loans in a hurry at a loss.

Idle cash earns nothing
Every coin in the vault beyond the need is a coin not lent.

Why play Bank Run Bluff?

Liquidity, having cash when it is asked for, matters for banks, businesses and households alike. Running out at the wrong moment is costly.
