Hashtag Hunter

One minute, one post after another: a first sourdough loaf for beginner bakers, a pug grooming routine for pug owners, sleep tips for night-shift nurses. Tap the niche hashtags that fit the post and its audience, and skip the broad, off-target and spammy ones before the clock runs out.

How to play

Read the post and audience. A tag has to fit both the topic and the people the post is for.
Tap the niche tags. Find every niche tag of a post to tag it: +20 and the next post. Keys 1 to 9 tap the tags.
Skip the traps. Broad tags cost 2 seconds, off-target ones (wrong topic, wrong audience, unrelated trends) 3, spammy ones 4.
Score. 10 points per niche tag, ×2 after 3 right in a row, ×3 after 6. A wrong tap resets the combo.

Quick tips

Read the audience line. Beginners, students, nurses: the right tag fits the people, not just the topic.
Smaller beats bigger. A tag with fewer, more specific posts is where your post can actually be found.
Beware of lookalikes. Same word, wrong world: #veganleather is vegan, but fashion.
Never hijack a trend. A trending event tag on an unrelated post looks spammy and reaches the wrong people.
Use the number keys. On a keyboard, keys 1 to 9 tap the tags in board order.
