Bluff or Truth

Liar's dice against Buffer, Thumby and Brainrot, 8 hands. Each opens with a bid like "at least 4 × 3s" across both cups. Turn your own dice into odds, watch their tells, then call bluff or raise. No chips, no betting.

How to play

Read the bid. A bid counts all 10 dice: your 5 and their 5 hidden ones. Ones are not wild.
Call or raise. Call bluff if you think it's false, or raise: more dice, or the same number of a higher face.
Do the maths. Each hidden die shows a face 1 time in 6. Peek at the exact odds if you need them (smaller bonus).
Score. +100 for winning a hand, +50 for picking the option your odds favour (+20 after a peek).

Quick tips

Count yourself first. Subtract the dice you hold from the bid. Only the rest has to come from the hidden cup.
Know the 1-in-6 rule. From 5 hidden dice, expect less than one of any face. Needing 2 or more is under 20%.
Bids carry information. An honest opponent bids what their own cup supports, so true bids are more common than raw odds suggest.
Tells are evidence. A tell shifts the odds; it doesn't settle them. Weigh it against the maths.
Raise on your strength. Your best raise is usually a face you hold several of.
